There is some good info in this book, however, some of the chapters drone on and are very redundant. In addition, the book seems to be more of an advertising pamphlet for the Authors business rather than an independent work on the topic. Which there is nothing wrong with, however, it does get a bit "salesman" at times. There are definitely good tips in this book about how to approach your insurance company about a claim and also how to handle the insurance companies adjuster during the process. I feel the book is worth a read and is a worthy reference book during a claim, however, just be prepared for some "plugging" from the Authors business.Product details

Wish book would give more details or specifics on dealing with insurance adjusters. For example, when insured is denied, what are the steps one should take against insurance company. Good book for general outline on fighting insurance company.
Anybody facing an insurance claim, after a disaster, is apt to settle with the insurance company for less than they deserve. Indeed , the may settle for less than they, need to do the repair. Understand the system much better,and get this book.
I could feel myself getting angrier as I read this book. If any of these tactics by insurance companies are true, get thee to a public adjuster! I appreciate the idea of overworked adjusters for insurance companies after a calamity, but this is a business and you better know the rules of how the game is played. After all, it's your money. Buy this book and read it well.
Mark does a great job of explaining what really happens after you file an insurance claims. This is a great look on the inside of how insurance companies try to wear people down to settle for less than what they deserve. It's amazing how the insurance companies look for the exclusions in the policy first before they even try to look for what IS covered. There are some great tips to help policyholders, this book also outlines the reason why there is a need for good public adjusters to help. Thank you Mark for writing this book!
